“ Chef kisses OMG I was blown away by how amazing the food was. We got loaded fries, hush puppies, pork skins, and the best of all the heavy hitter. Guys is the best variety of delicious food especially the brisket and sausage. Oh not to mention I don't even like brisket but that melted in my mouth! If I could give more stars I would! Chef your food was so good I wanted to slap my mama! ”

“ If you are in the high country and want BBQ, this is the place to go! It is a no-frills restaurant that is family friendly, but WOW they had some excellent food. We ordered the double smokehouse sampler because we were worried the smokehouse sampler wouldn't be enough for two people....boy were we wrong. The double smokehouse sampler was SO MUCH FOOD! It had pulled pork, brisket, and ribs, along with four different sides (plus we ordered some collared greens) and we really overdid it--we must have still had 2 lbs of meat for leftovers. Pulled pork was moist and tasty, and the ribs were so tender they fell off the bone. The collared greens were good and a bit spicy, and the fried okra and hush puppies were so tasty. Excellent food, but if you are splitting a sampler with two people, I recommend the smaller smokehouse! ”
“ Today was the first day we went downstairs came in for a brunch and food was great as always brisket was cooked to perfection. It had its Smokey taste. Do ask about their lovely sauces that chipotle one I’ve chosen was a great mix of sweetness and slight spice. Lovely experience, servers were friendly and helpful and nice. “ We got several entrees, the Fowl Play, and I think heavy hitter, plenty of food for two. The dipping sauces were okay, the Alabama and South Carolina are definitely an acquired taste..lol. But let's talk Chloe, AWESOME SERVICE WITH A WELCOMING SMILE. Every establishment needs a PERSON like Chloe. Great job, awesome attitude, very attentive overall AMAZING SERVICE. The atmosphere as a business was family oriented, laid back. It wasn't to over the top,just customers being customers. ”
“ I went in last minute to get a catering order for my staff and they could have not been more accommodating. The hostess(not sure her name-long straight hair) was doing 5 things at once, up and down the stairs and handling service seamlessly, calmly and extremely pleasant. They had my food up in 30 minutes and all the staff were so friendly and volunteered to help bring the order to my car. I know how hard it is to find good staff in this area and this crew is dedicated to service. Thank you so much for putting this order together last minute and feeding my staff on a busy Blowing Rock holiday weekend! Can’t wait to return for a dine-in meal. ”

“ Best BBQ ever! Best smoked pimento cheese Ever!(I don't even like the stuff, but it I do this stuff) Brisket & turkey sandwich is a must get! The fried green tomatoes as well! Patrick made it even more special , he wasn't our server he was the host of our Lil party of 2! He made it such a fun experience! Check them out for sure! I promise you will not regret it! ”
